Meet Stacy

Over the past few months over 875 women have been nominated to run for office through the She Should Run campaign. 

Stacy Schneider is one of them.  Stacy grew up in New Orleans and today she is a laywer in Manhattan. Recently she received some attention on New
York City cable channel NY1.





When Stacy’s husband heard about She Should Run back in June, he knew that she was exactly the kind of woman we were looking for and nominated her to run for office.  Thinking she might need a little bit more encouragement, he enlisted the help of many of her friends, family and co-workers to nominate Stacy as well.

After hearing about the overwhelming support of her friends, family and Women’s Campaign Forum, Stacy is now taking her nomination seriously.

Stacy is just one of the many talented, passionate, and qualified women we’ve discovered through She Should Run.  Now, we’re looking for 125 more women like her to meet our goal of 1,000 nominations.

Nominating a woman you know is just the first step in the process.  We are following up with each and every nominee to find out where they are in the decision making process and what tools and resources they need to make the decision to run for office. 

With women making up just 25% of elected officials nation-wide, we need more pro-choice women like Stacy in office.   You can get a woman you know started down that road today.
