Dominique Levy

Partner, L&M Arts

Ms. Levy is currently a partner at L&M Arts.  She was formerly a senior vice president and director of Christie’s new International Private Sales department. She is a specialist in Impressionist, 20th-Century and Contemporary art. For most of the 1990s, she worked at leading private galleries in London and Geneva, as well as managing the Impressionist, Modern and Contemporary Paintings department at Sotheby’s Geneva office. She began her career at Christie’s in 1987 and rejoined the firm in 1999 when she was appointed to launch Private Sales.

Author, How the Pro-Choice Movement Saved America

Ms. Page is the author of How The Pro-Choice Movement Saved America: Freedom, Politics, and the War on Sex. It is the first book to address the positive transformation our society has undergone because of our ability to plan when and if to have children. She is also a spokesperson for birthcontrolwatch.org and a consultant for several national pro-choice groups.  Her policy proposals have been adopted by Mayor Michael Bloomberg and the New Jersey State legislature. Her op-eds have appeared in The New York Times, Chicago Sun Times, Newsday, Guardian UK, Tampa Tribune, Baltimore Sun, The Huffington Post and TomPaine.com.

State Senator Jennifer Beck

New Jersey, District 12

Senator Beck served in the New Jersey Assembly from 2006-2007 and began her service as state senator in 2008. She has served on the following committees: Higher Education, Transportation and Public Works and the Joint Committee on the Public Schools.

Councilwoman Gale A. Brewer

NYC

Council Member Gale A. Brewer has been representing the Upper West Side and Clinton in the New York City Council since 2002. She was re-elected in 2003, and again in 2005. Her service in the Council is a continuation of nearly 30 years of public service.

Beth Hafer

Candidate, U.S. House (PA-18)

Ms. Hafer is running in Pennsylvania’s 18th Congressional District. Ms. Hafer is a former teacher, an active community member and the daughter of a former Pennsylvania state treasurer. Ms. Hafer is “meeting the challenge” on education; she has dedicated herself to improving educational opportunities for young people.  She believes we need a government that supports teachers and schools, not punishes them.
